ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
RESTRICTED ZONES IN STANLEY
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 28 March 2025, the following road sections will be designated as a restricted zone 24 hours daily:
(a) The northern kerbside lane of Tung Tau Wan Road from its junction with Hoi Fung Path to a point about 10 metres west of the same junction;
(b) The western kerbside lane of Hoi Fung Path from its junction with Tung Tau Wan Road to a point about 45 metres north of the same junction;
(c) The eastern kerbside lane of Hoi Fung Path from its junction with Stanley Link Road to a point about 10 metres north of the same junction;
(d) The northern kerbside lane of Stanley Link Road from its junction with Hoi Fung Path to a point about 50 metres east of the same junction; and
(e) The western kerbside lane of Wong Ma Kok Road from a point about 95 metres south of its junction with Stanley Village Road to a point about 125 metres south of the same junction.
Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-
(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.
At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
