ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Restricted Zones on Lei Yue Mun Road and Yau Tong Road, Kwun Tong
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 21 February 2025, the following road sections in Kwun Tong will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:-
(a) The western kerbside lane of Lei Yue Mun Road from its southern junction with Ko Chiu Road to a point about 55 metres north of the same junction;
(b) The western kerbside lane of Lei Yue Mun Road from a point about 70 metres north of its southern junction with Ko Chiu Road to a point about 150 metres north of the same junction;
(c) The western kerbside lane of Lei Yue Mun Road from its junction with the unnamed access road to Lei Yue Mun Plaza to a point about 60 metres north of the same junction;
(d) The eastern kerbside lane of Lei Yue Mun Road from a point about 65 metres north of its junction with the unnamed access road to Lei Yue Mun Plaza to a point about 175 metres south of the same junction;
(e) The eastern kerbside lane of Lei Yue Mun Road from a point about 85 metres north of its junction with the unnamed access road to Lei Yue Mun Plaza to a point about 110 metres north of the same junction;
(f) The western kerbside lane of Lei Yue Mun Road from a point about 5 metres south of its junction with the unnamed access road to Evangelize China Fellowship Holy Word School to a point about 5 metres north of the same junction;
(g) The western kerbside lane of Lei Yue Mun Road from its junction with Yau Tong Road to a point about 25 metres south of the same junction; and
(h) The southern kerbside lane of Yau Tong Road from its junction with Lei Yue Mun Road to a point about 95 metres west of the same junction.
Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from: -
(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.
At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
