ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Restricted Zones in Kwun Tong


       In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10:00 am on 20 December 2024, the following road sections in Kwun Tong will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:


(a)    the western kerbside of On Sau Road from its junction with Clear Water Bay Road to a point about 20 metres south of the same junction;

(b)    the southern kerbside of Clear Water Bay Road from its junction with On Sau Road to a point about 35 metres west of the same junction;

(c)    the southern kerbside lane of On Yan Street from a point about 30 metres west of its junction with the unnamed access road to On Tai Estate Carpark to a point about 105 metres west of the same junction;

(d)    the northern kerbside lane of On Yan Street from a point about 30 metres west of its junction with the unnamed access road to On Tai Estate Carpark to a point about 110 metres west of the same junction; and

(e)    the western kerbside lane of the unnamed access road in the ground floor of Ping Shek Public Transport Interchange leading from Ping Shek Lane to Clear Water Bay Road westbound from its junction with Clear Water Bay Road a point about 35 metres south of the same junction.


       Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-


(a)    picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b)    loading or unloading goods.


       The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.


       At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
