ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Restricted Zones in Southern District


        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 20 December 2024, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:-

        (a) the northern kerbside lane of Wah Fu Road from its junction with Wah Lok Path to a point about 20 metres west of the same junction;
        (b) the northern kerbside lane of Wah Fu Road from its junction with Wah Lok Path to a point about 25 metres east of the same junction;
        (c) the western kerbside lane of Wah Lam Path from its junction with Wah Fu Road to a point about 35 metres north of the same junction;
        (d) the eastern kerbside lane Wah Lam Path from a point about 15 metres east of its junction with Wah Fu Road to a point about 5 metres east of its junction with Wah Lok Path; and
        (e) the eastern kerbside lane of Wah King Street from a point about 5 metres east of its junction with Wah Lok Path to a point about 20 metres north of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-

        (a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
        (b) loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.

        At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
