ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
RESTRICTED ZONES IN WAN CHAI

       In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10 am on 6 December 2024, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

(a) the southern kerbside lane of Hysan Avenue from its junction with Hoi Ping Road to a point about 5 metres east of the same junction;

(b) the eastern kerbside lane of Hoi Ping Road from its junction with Hysan Avenue to a point about 115 metres south of the same junction;

(c) the northern kerbside lane of Leighton Road from its junction with Hoi Ping Road to a point about 25 metres east of the same junction;

(d) the eastern kerbside lane of Sunning Road from its junction with Hysan Avenue to a point about 60 metres south of the same junction;

(e) the southern kerbside lane of Hysan Avenue from its junction with Yun Ping Road to a point about 10 metres west of the same junction; and

(f) the western kerbside lane of Yun Ping Road from its junction with Hysan Avenue to a point about 20 metres south of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner of Transport, will be prohibited from:-

(a )Picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b) Loading or unloading goods.

The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.

At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
