Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements
on Ma On Shan Bypass and Ma On Shan Road
Notice is hereby given that to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented on Ma On Shan Bypass and Ma On Shan Road from 01.00 am to 05.30 am daily on 1 and 8 December 2024:
(A)
Road Closure
The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:

The section of Ma On Shan Bypass (southbound) from its junction with the slip road leading to Sai Sha Road (southbound) to its junction with Ma On Shan Road (Southbound);

The slip road leading from Sai Sha Road (northbound) to Ma On Shan Bypass (southbound); and
-
The section of Ma On Shan Road (southbound) from its junction with Ma On Shan Road/Hang Hong Street/ Ma On Shan Tsuen Road to its junction with Sai Sha Road (southbound).

Traffic Diversion

- Affected vehicles on Ma On Shan Bypass (southbound) heading to Kowloon and Sha Tin Central will be diverted via Sai Sha Road (southbound);
- Affected vehicles on Sai Sha Road (northbound) heading to Ma On Shan Bypass (southbound) will be diverted via Sai Sha Road (northbound), Nai Chung roundabout (Sai Sha Road/ Nin Wah Road/ Nin Fung Road), Sai Sha Road (southbound), silp road of Ma On Shan Bypass and Sai Sha Road (southbound); and
- Affected vehicles on Hang Hong Street (westbound), Ma On Shan Road (southbound) and Ma On Shan Tsuen Road (southbound) heading to Kowloon, Tai Po and Sha Tin Central will be diverted via Hang Hong Street (eastbound) and Sai Sha Road (southbound).

Public Transport Arrangements
The Overnight Cross Harbour Route Nos. N281 (Hung Hom Bound) and N680 (Central Bound); and New Territories GMB Route 805S (Mongkok Bound) will be diverted via Hang Hong Street (eastbound) and Sai Sha Road (southbound) before resuming its normal routing.
The en-route stop at Kam Chun Court of Overnight Cross Harbour Route Nos. N281 (Hung Hom Bound) and N680 (Central Bound); and New Territories GMB Route 805S (Mongkok Bound) will be temporary suspended.
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to follow the instructions on site and drive in utmost care. Notices will be displayed by the public transport services operators to inform the passengers of the temporary service adjustments.
