ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
RESTRICTED ZONES IN TIN SHUI WAI, YUEN LONG
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 2.00 p.m. on 22 November 2024, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:-
- the eastern kerbside lane of Ping Ha Road from its junction with Ping Hing Lane to a point about 17 metres north of the same junction;
- the northern kerbside lane of Ping Hing Lane from its junction with Ping Ha Road to a point about 11 metres east of the same junction;
- the eastern kerbside lane of Ping Ha Road from its junction with Castle Peak Road – Ping Shan to a point about 35 metres north of the same junction;
- the northern kerbside lane of Castle Peak Road – Ping Shan from its junction with Ping Ha Road to a point about 70 metres east of the same junction;
- the eastern kerbside lane of Tin Kwai Road from its junction with Tin Wah Road to a point about 60 metres north of the same junction;
- the northern kerbside lane of Tin Wah Road from its junction with Tin Kwai Road to a point of its junction with Tin Tsz Road;
- the western kerbside lane of the unnamed road near lamppost number BD0788 on Tin Wah Road from its junction with Tin Wah Road to a point about 15 metres north of the same junction;
- the eastern kerbside lane of the unnamed road near lamppost number BD0789 on Tin Wah Road from its junction with Tin Wah Road to a point about 15 metres north of the same junction;
- the western kerbside lane of Wetland Park Road from its junction with Tin Wah Road to a point about 250 metres north of the same junction;
- the southern kerbside lane of Wetland Park Road from its junction with Tin Kwai Road to a point about 380 metres east of the same junction;
- the eastern kerbside lane of Tin Kwai Road from its junction with Wetland Park Road to a point about 60 metres south of the same junction;
- the northern kerbside lane of Ka Yan Street from its junction with Tin Yan Road to a point about 120 metres west of the same junction;
- the western kerbside lane of Tin Yan Road from its junction with Ka Yan Street to a point about 140 metres north of the same junction;
- the southern kerbside lane of Tin Wing Road from its junction with Tin Yan Road to a point about 150 metres west of the same junction; and
- the southern kerbside lane of Tin Tan Street from its junction with Tin Shui Road to a point about 210 metres west of the same junction.
Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-
- picking up or setting down passengers; or
- loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.
At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
