Traffic Advice
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Tsing King Road, Tsing Yi
Members of public are advised that to facilitate road resurfacing works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented on Tsing King Road, from 10.00 p.m. on 26 November 2024 to 5.30 a.m. on the following day:
(I) Road Closure
The following traffic lanes will be closed to all vehicular traffic:
- The section of Tsing King Road westbound from its junction with Nga Ying Chau Street to a point about 110 metres east of the same junction;
- The fast lane and middle lane of Tsing King Road eastbound from its junction with Nga Ying Chau Street to a point about 65 metres west of the same junction; and
- The slow lane of Nga Ying Chau Street southbound from its junction with Tsing King Road to a point about 45 metres north of the same junction.
(II) Lane Conversion
- The section of Tsing King Road eastbound from its junction with Nga Ying Chau Street to a point about 110 metres east of the same junction will be temporarily converted into one-lane two-way traffic.
(III) Public Transport Services Arrangements
- The bus stop of KMB Route No. 279X on Tsing King Road eastbound near Ching Wang Court will be temporarily suspended; and
- The bus stop of KMB Route Nos. 68A, 68E, 248M, 249X and 279X and GMB stops of N.T. GMB Route Nos. 88A, 140M, 308M, 310M, 312, 409, 409K and 409S on Tsing King Road westbound near On Mei House will be temporarily relocated for about 105 metres westward.
Motorists are advised to drive with upmost care and patience. Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.
