Motorists are advised that, to facilitate road maintenance works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented at Hung Tak Road and Hung Shun Road in the following days:
Road Closure
Hung Tak Road (northbound) and the section of Hung Shun Road (eastbound) from its junction with Hung Tak Road to a point about 40 metres west of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.
Hung Tak Road (southbound) and the section of Hung Shun Road (eastbound) from its junction with Hung Tak Road to a point about 30 metres east of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.
Traffic Diversion
Motorist on Hung Shun Road (eastbound) heading for Castle Peak Road – Ping Shan are advised to travel via Ying Fuk Street (northbound), the carpark nearby, Hung Shun Road (westbound), Tan Kwai Tsuen Road (northbound), Castle Peak Road – Ping Shan (eastbound), U-turn, Castle Peak Road – Ping Shan (westbound), and Hung Tak Road (southbound).
Motorist on Castle Peak Road – Ping Shan (westbound) heading for Hung Shun Road are advised to travel via Castle Peak Road – Hung Shui Kiu (westbound), U turn at the junction of Castle Peak Road – Hung Shui Kiu with Tin Ha Road, Castle Peak Road – Hung Shui Kiu (eastbound), and Tan Kwai Tsuen Road (southbound).
Public Transport Arrangement
GMB route 32 heading for Yuen Long and Residents' Service NR958 heading for Yuen Long Plaza will be diverted via Ying Fuk Street (northbound), the carpark nearby, Hung Shun Road (westbound), and Tan Kwai Tsuen Road (northbound) before resuming its normal routing.
GMB route 32 heading for Tan Kwai Tsuen and Residents' Service NR958 heading for Meadowlands will be diverted via Castle Peak Road – Hung Shui Kiu (westbound), U turn at the junction of Castle Peak Road – Hung Shui Kiu with Tin Ha Road, Castle Peak Road – Hung Shui Kiu (eastbound), and Tan Kwai Tsuen Road (southbound) before resuming its normal routing.
Appropriate temporary traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to follow the instructions on site and drive with utmost care. Notices will be posted up by the public transport operators to advise passengers of the temporary public transport arrangements.
