In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 25 October 2024 to 06.00 p.m. on 15 December 2024, the section of Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung (westbound) from a point about 210 meters east of its junction with Kin Chuen Street to a point about 658 meters west of the same junction will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

At the same time, the existing speed limit of 70 kilometres per hour on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
