ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Extension Of Temporary Restricted Zones in Tsim Sha Tsui
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 6.01 pm on 28 October 2024 to 6.00 pm on 27 April 2025, the following road sections will continue to be temporarily designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:-
(i) the western kerbside lane of Chatham Road South between Chatham Court and Cameron Road;
(ii) the northern kerbside lane of Observatory Road from its junction with Chatham Road South to a point about 40 metres west of the same junction;
(iii) the southern kerbside lane of Observatory Road from its junction with Chatham Road South to a point about 30 metres west of the same junction;
(iv) the section of Granville Road from its junction with Chatham Road South to a point about 120 metres west of the same junction;
(v) the eastern kerbside lane of Granville Circuit from its junction with Granville Road to a point about 10 metres south of the same junction; and
(vi) the western kerbside lane of Granville Circuit from its junction with Granville Road to a point about 5 metres south of the same junction.
Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:
(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones have been indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road section will continue to be rescinded.
