ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Extension of Temporary Restricted Zones on Ko Fai Road, Yau Tong
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 6.00 pm on 21 October 2024 to 6.00 pm on 22 January 2025, the following road sections in Yau Tong will continue to be temporarily designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:-
(a) The northern kerbside lane of Ko Fai Road from a point about 120 metres east of its junction with Shung Tak Wai to a point about 195 metres east of the same junction;
(b) The southern kerbside lane of Ko Fai Road from a point about 145 metres east of its junction with Shung Tak Wai to a point about 195 metres east of the same junction;
(c) The northern kerbside lane of Ko Fai Road from a point about 50 metres west of its junction with Tung Yuen Street to a point about 55 metres east of the same junction;
(d) The southern kerbside lane of Ko Fai Road from a point about 5 metres west of its junction with Tung Yuen Street to a point about 45 metres west of the same junction; and
(e) The western kerbside of the cul-de-sac of Ko Fai Road.
Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from: -
(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones have been indicated by appropriate road markings.
At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
