Members of the public are advised that to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic arrangements at Sky City Road, Chek Lap Kok, will be implemented from 8 p.m. on 7 October 2024 to 6 p.m. on 7 April 2025.

I. Road Closure

The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:

1. Third Sky Street westbound; and
2. the section of Sky City Road northbound from a point about 230 metres south of its junction with Airport Expo Boulevard to a point about 390 metres south of the same junction.

1. Affected vehicles on Sky City East Road northbound heading for Second Sky Street eastbound will be diverted via Sky City East Road northbound, First Sky Street, Sky City Road southbound and Second Sky Street eastbound; and
2. Affected vehicles on Sky City Interchange heading to AsiaWorld-Expo (West Lobby) via Airport Expo Boulevard eastbound will be diverted via Sky City Interchange, Cheong Lin Road westbound, Airport South Interchange, Airport Road northbound, Airport North Interchange, Sky City Road southbound and Airport Expo Boulevard eastbound.

III. Public Transport Arrangements

1. CTB Route No. A23 and LWB Route No. A33X heading for the Airport will be diverted via Airport Road southbound, Airport South Interchange, Airport Road northbound, Airport North Interchange, Sky City Road eastbound, Sky City Road southbound and Second Sky Street before resuming the original routeing;
2. CTB Route No. A23 and LWB Route No. A33X heading for Urban areas will be diverted via Airport South Interchange, Airport Road northbound, Airport North Interchange, Sky City Road eastbound, Sky City Road southbound and Second Sky Street before resuming the original routeing;
3. Special departures via AsiaWorld-Expo of CTB Routes No. A26, A28, A29 heading to the Airport and LWB Routes No. A30, A31, A32, A34, A37, A41P, A43P and A47X will be diverted via Airport Road southbound, Airport South Interchange, Airport Road northbound, Airport North Interchange, Sky City Road eastbound, Sky City Road southbound and Airport Expo Boulevard before resuming the original routeing; and
4. CTB and LWB Route No. X1 heading for AsiaWorld-Expo will be diverted via East Coast Road northbound, Airport Road northbound, Airport South Interchange, Airport Road northbound, Airport North Interchange, Sky City Road eastbound, Sky City Road southbound and Airport Expo Boulevard to AsiaWorld-Expo Terminus.

       
       Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. The franchised bus operators will display notices to advise passengers of the above arrangement.
