ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Extension of Temporary Prohibited Zones for Vehicles
Exceeding 8 Metres and 12 Metres in Length in Yau Ma Tei


       In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 1 October 2024 to 31 December 2024, the following road sections will continue to be temporarily designated as prohibited zones for vehicles exceeding 8 metres and 12 metres in length 24 hours daily:-


(i)     The section of Reclamation Street between Battery Street and Kansu Street will be designated as prohibited zone for vehicles exceeding 8 metres in length 24 hours daily; and

(ii)    The section of Kansu Street between Shanghai Street and Battery Street will be designated as prohibited zone for vehicles exceeding 12 metres in length 24 hours daily.


       Drivers of all vehicles, except for access and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from driving vehicles into the above prohibited zone.


       The extent of the prohibited zone have been indicated by appropriate traffic signs.
