In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 4 October 2024 to 4.00 p.m. on 31 December 2024, the following road sections will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour:

1. the eastern kerbside lane of Lung Mun Road from a point about 160 metres south of its junction with Lung Fai Street to a point about 1230 metres south of the same junction; and
   
   
2. the western kerbside lane of Lung Mun Road from its junction with Lung Yiu Street to a point about 1000 metres north of the same junction.

Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

At the same time, the existing speed limit on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
