In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 1.00 a.m. on 14 September 2024 to 1.00 a.m. on 14 March 2025, the section of Fanling Highway (southbound) from a point about 590 metres north of its junction with Pak Wo Road Elevated Road (near Dawning Views) to a point about 340 metres south of its junction with Ho Ka Yuen Footbridge will continue to be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 70 kilometres per hour.

          Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

          At the same time, the existing speed limit of 100 kilometres per hour on the above road section will continue to be temporarily rescinded.
