ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Temporary Restricted Zones on Queen's Road Central, Central District

In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 12.00 midnight to 5.00 am on Mondays to Fridays (except public holidays) during the period from 2 September 2024 to 16 November 2024, the southern kerbside lane of Queen's Road Central from a point about 30 metres west of its junction with Duddel Street to a point about 55 metres west of the same junction will be temporarily designated as a restricted zone 24 hours daily.

Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

          (a) Picking up or setting down passengers; or
          (b) Loading or unloading goods.

          The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

          At the same time, the existing restricted zone on the above road section will be rescinded.
