ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Taxi Restricted Zone o Shung Ling Street, San Po Kong


       In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 16 August 2024, the western kerbside lane of Shung Ling Street from a point about 60 metres north of its junction with Foo Yuen Street to 140 metres north of the same junction will be designated as restricted zone for taxi from 7.00 p.m. to 12.00 midnight daily.


       Within the restricted zone, drivers of all taxi, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:


(a)    picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b)    loading or unloading goods.


       The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by traffic signs and road markings.


       At the same time, the existing restricted zone for taxi on the above road section will be rescinded.
