TRAFFIC ADVICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements at
Hing Wah Street West, Sham Shui Po


        Motorists are advised that to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 11.59 pm on 27 July 2024 to 6.00 am on 28 July 2024:


(1)     Road Closure

The following road section will be temporarily closed for all vehicular traffic:

i)      The section of Hing Wah Street West westbound between Sham Mong Road and West Kowloon Highway.

(2)     Banning of Turning Movement

i)      All vehicles from Sham Mong Road southbound will be temporarily prohibited from making right turn onto Hing Wah Street West westbound; and

ii)     All vehicles from Sham Mong Road northbound will be temporarily prohibited from making left turn onto Hing Wah Street West westbound.

(3)     Traffic Diversion

i)      Affected vehicles on Sham Mong Road southbound heading towards Lin Cheung Road will be diverted via Tonkin Street West westbound and Lin Cheung Road; and

ii)     Affected vehicles on Hing Wah Street West westbound heading towards Lin Cheung Road will be diverted via Sham Mong Road southbound, Tonkin Street West westbound and Lin Cheung Road.

(4)     Public Transport Services Arrangements

The following temporary bus diversion will be implemented during the affected period:

(Cheung Sha Wan (Hoi Ying Estate) bound)

After Sham Mong Road northbound, divert via Lai Po Road southbound and resume its original routing on Hing Wah Street West eastbound.

Cross Harbour Route Nos. 118/ N118
(Siu Sai Wan (Island Resort) bound)

After Sham Mong Road northbound, divert via Hing Wah Street West eastbound, Tung Chau Street southbound, Fat Tseung Street westbound, Fat Tseung Street West westbound, Sham Mong Road southbound and resume its original routing on Tonkin Street West eastbound.



        Notices will be displayed by public transport operators to advise passengers of the above temporary traffic and transport arrangements.


        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to follow the instructions on site and drive in utmost care.
