Motorists are advised that to facilitate lifting works, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented with effect from 1.10 am to 5.30 am on 21 July 2024:

Road Closure

        The slip road leading from Lung Cheung Road westbound to Waterloo Road northbound will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

Traffic Diversion

        Affected vehicles on Lung Cheung Road westbound heading towards Lion Rock Tunnel northbound are advised to travel via Lung Yin Road, Chuk Yuen Road southbound, Junction Road westbound and Waterloo Road northbound.

Public Transport Arrangement

        During the road closure, New Territories Green Minibus Route no. 501S (Sheung Shui bound) will be diverted via Lung Cheung Road westbound, Lung Kui Road, Lung Cheung Road eastbound and the slip road leading to Lion Rock Tunnel Road northbound, before resuming its original routeing.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be set up on site to guide motorists.
