TRAFFIC ADVICE
Extension of Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on
Shatin Pass Road and Chuk Yuen Road, Wong Tai Sin


        Members of the public are advised that to facilitate watermain emergency works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements currently on Shatin Pass Road southbound and Chuk Yuen Road southbound will continue to be implemented until 11.59 pm on 31 July 2024:-


I.      Road Closure

The section of Shatin Pass Road southbound and Chuk Yuen Road southbound between Tsz Wan Shan Road and Nga Chuk Street will continue to be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

II.     Banning of Turning Movement

All vehicles on Tsz Wan Shan Road westbound will continue to be prohibited from making left turn movement onto Shatin Pass Road southbound.

III.   Traffic Diversion

Affected vehicles on Tsz Wan Shan Road westbound heading to Shatin Pass Road southbound will continue to be diverted via Tsz Wan Shan Road eastbound, Wan Wah Street southbound, Sheung Fung Street southbound, Fung Tak Road westbound, Shatin Pass Road northbound, Wong Tai Sin Road westbound, Nga Chuk Street northbound.

IV.    Public Transport Arrangements

(i)     Kowloon GMB route no. 18M on Tsz Wan Shan Road will continue to be diverted via Wan Wah Street southbound, Sheung Fung Street southbound before resuming to its original routeing;

(ii)    Kowloon GMB route no. 73 on Wai Wah Street will continue to be diverted via Wan Wah Street southbound, Sheung Fung Street southbound, Fung Tak Road westbound, Shatin Pass Road northbound, Wong Tai Sin Road westbound, Nga Chuk Street northbound, Chuk Yuen Road westbound before resuming to its original routeing;

(iii)   The GMB stops of Kowloon GMB route no. 18M at Shatin Pass Road outside TWGHs Wong Tai Sin Hospital, Diamond Hill Kwong Yum Home for the Aged and Nga Chuk Street outside Chui Yuen House, Chuk Yuen South Estate will continue to be temporarily suspended; and

(iv)   The GMB stop of Kowloon GMB route no. 73 at Shatin Pass Road outside TWGHs Wong Tai Sin Hospital will continue to be temporarily suspended.


        Appropriate traffic signs have been erected on site to guide motorists. The public transport operators have displayed notices to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangements.
