Extension of Temporary Traffic Arrangements on Pak Wo Road, Wah Ming Road and Yat Ming Road in Fanling


          Members of the public are advised that, to facilitate the construction works of the mixed housing development at Pak Wo Road, Fanling, the following temporary traffic arrangements will continue to be implemented from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm daily from 28 June to 31 August 2024 (except Sundays and Public Holidays):

(I) ROAD CLOSURE

  1. The slow lane of Pak Wo Road northbound from its northern junction with Yat Ming Road/Wah Ming Road to a point about 240 metres north of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic;
  2. The fast lane of Pak Wo Road northbound from its northern junction with Yat Ming Road/Wah Ming Road to a point about 240 metres north of the same junction will be intermittently closed;
  3. The slow lane of Pak Wo Road northbound from its northern junction with Yat Ming Road/Wah Ming Road to a point about 43 metres south of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic. Motorists could make left turn onto Wah Ming Road westbound on the middle lane; and
  4. The fast lane of Wah Ming Road eastbound from its northern junction with Pak Wo Road to a point about 80 metres west of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic. Motorists could make right turn onto Pak Wo Road southbound on the middle lane.
(II) BANNING OF TURNING MOVEMENT

  1. All vehicles on the middle lane of Wah Ming Road eastbound will be temporarily prohibited from making left turn at its northern junction with Pak Wo Road (near HHCKLA Buddhist Po Kwong School) onto Pak Wo Road northbound; and
  2. All vehicles on the middle lane of Yat Ming Road westbound will be temporarily prohibited from making right turn at its northern junction with Pak Wo Road (near Pak Fuk Tin Sum Playground) onto Pak Wo Road northbound.

          Appropriate traffic aids will be erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to follow the instructions on site and drive in utmost care.
