Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Tai Po Road – Sha Tin, Sha Tin

        Notice is hereby given that in order to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 7.00 am on 29 June 2024 to 6.00 am on 2 July 2024:

The slip road leading from Sha Tin Rural Committee Road to Tai Po Road – Sha Tin northbound will be closed to all vehicular traffic.

The following turning movements will be prohibited:

1. 1. Turning right from Sha Tin Rural Committee Road westbound to Tai Po Road – Sha Tin northbound; and
   2. Turning left from Sha Tin Rural Committee Road eastbound to Tai Po Road – Sha Tin northbound.

1. 1. Affected vehicles on Sha Tin Rural Committee Road westbound heading for Tolo Highway will be diverted via Pai Tau Street, Sha Tin Rural Committee Road eastbound, Yuen Wo Road northbound, Sha Tin Road westbound and Tai Po Road – Sha Tin northbound;
   2. Affected vehicles on Sha Tin Rural Committee Road westbound heading for Fo Tan Road will be diverted via Pai Tau Street, Sha Tin Rural Committee Road eastbound and Yuen Wo Road northbound;
   3. Affected vehicles on Sha Tin Rural Committee Road eastbound heading for Tolo Highway will be diverted via Yuen Wo Road northbound, Sha Tin Road westbound and Tai Po Road – Sha Tin northbound; and
   4. Affected vehicles on Sha Tin Rural Committee Road eastbound heading for Fo Tan Road will be diverted via Yuen Wo Road northbound.
   5. Affected vehicles on Yuen Wo Road northbound heading for Tolo Highway will be diverted via Sha Tin Road westbound and Tai Po Road - Sha Tin northbound; and
   6. Affected vehicles on Yuen Wo Road southbound heading for Tolo Highway will be diverted via Sha Tin Rural Committee Road eastbound, Tai Chung Kiu Road northbound, Fo Tan Road westbound, Yuen Wo Road northbound, Sha Tin Road westbound and Tai Po Road - Sha Tin section northbound.

1. 1. KMB Route No. W3 (Sheung Shui bound) will be diverted via Sha Tin Rural Committee Road eastbound, Yuen Wo Road northbound, Sha Tin Road westbound and Tai Po Road - Sha Tin northbound before resuming to its original routeing;
   2. New Territories GMB Route Nos. 60P (Chun Yeung Estate bound) and 69K (Greenwood Terrace bound) will be diverted via Sha Tin Rural Committee Road eastbound, Yuen Wo Road northbound and Fo Tan Road westbound before resuming to their original routeings; and
   3. New Territories GMB Route Nos. 27 (HK Science Park bound), 27A (Pak Shek Kok bound), 27B (Pak Shek Kok bound), 28K (Tai Po Market Station bound), 28S (Pak Shek Kok bound) and 66K (Kau To Shan bound) will be diverted via Sha Tin Rural Committee Road eastbound, Yuen Wo Road northbound, Sha Tin Road westbound and Tai Po Road - Sha Tin northbound before returning to their original routeings.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists. Public transport operators will display notices to advise passengers of the above arrangements.
