TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE
Temporary Traffic Arrangements in Happy Valley, Wan Chai

       Notice is hereby given that to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented in Happy Valley from 10.00 pm to 6.00 am the following day daily on 3 and 4 July 2024:

(a) Road Closure
The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:
i. Cheong Ming Street; and
ii. A section of Hip Wo Lane between Min Fat Street and Shing Ping Street.

(b) Lane Conversion
i. Min Fat Street will be temporarily converted from one-lane one-way traffic into one-lane two-way traffic; and
ii. The section of Hip Wo Lane between Shing Ping Street and Lun Hing Street will be re-routed as one-way northbound.

(c) Traffic Diversion
Affected vehicles on Shing Woo Road heading to Shing Ping Street will be diverted via Lun Hing Street and Hip Wo Lane northbound.

(d) Suspension of Metered Parking Spaces
The following metered parking spaces will be suspended:
i. 2 metered parking spaces (nos.: 2756A and 2756B) on Min Fat Street near Hip Wo Lane; and
ii. All metered parking spaces (nos.: 2758A, 2758B, 2759A, 2759B, 2760B, 2761B, 2762A, 2762B, 2763A and 2763B) on Cheong Ming Street.

Appropriate traffic signs and road markings will be erected on site to guide motorists.
