TRAFFIC ADVICE
Temporary Traffic Arrangements in Yau Ma Tei
Motorists are advised that to facilitate the Central Kowloon Route construction works, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented in Yau Ma Tei from 1.00 am to 5.30 on 29 June 2024:
I. Road Closure
The slip road of Yau Ma Tei Interchange and Hoi Po Road leading to Lai Cheung Road eastbound and West Kowloon Highway northbound near Yau Ma Tei Typhoon Shelter will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.
II. Traffic Diversions
(i) Affected vehicles on slip road of Yau Ma Tei Interchange heading for Mong Kok will be temporarily diverted via Lin Cheung Road northbound, Cherry Street westbound and Cherry Street eastbound, before resuming to its original routing;
(ii) Affected vehicles on slip road of Yau Ma Tei Interchange heading for Lai Chi Kok will be temporarily diverted via Lin Cheung Road northbound, Hoi Fai Road roundabout and Hoi Fai Road eastbound, before resuming to its original routing;
(iii) Affected vehicles on slip road of Hoi Po Road heading for Mong Kok will be temporarily diverted via Hoi Po Road northbound, Lin Cheung Road northbound, Cherry Street westbound and Cherry Street eastbound, before resuming to its original routing;
(iv) Affected vehicles on slip road of Hoi Po Road heading for Lai Chi Kok will be temporarily diverted via Hoi Po Road northbound, Lin Cheung Road northbound, Hoi Fai Road roundabout and Hoi Fai Road eastbound, before resuming to its original routing; and
(v) Affected vehicles on slip road of Hoi Po Road heading for Kwai Chung and Lantau will be temporarily diverted via Hoi Po Road northbound and Lin Cheung Road northbound, before resuming to its original routing.
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.
