TRAFFIC ADVICE
Temporary Traffic Arrangements in Ferry Street, Yau Ma Tei


        Motorists are advised that to facilitate construction works of Central Kowloon Route, the following temporarily traffic arrangements will be implemented in Yau Ma Tei from 1.00 am to 5.30 am daily on 10-13, 15-20, 22-27 and 29-31 July 2024:-


I.      Road Closure

A section of Ferry Street southbound between Waterloo Road and Public Square Street will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

II.     Banning of Turning Movement

(i)     All vehicles on Waterloo Road westbound will be prohibited from making left turn movement onto Ferry Street southbound; and

(ii)    All vehicles on Lai Cheung Road eastbound will be prohibited from making right turn movement onto Ferry Street southbound.

III.    Traffic Diversions

(i)     Affected vehicles on Waterloo Road westbound heading to Tsim Sha Tsui will be diverted via Lai Cheung Road westbound and Hoi Wang Road southbound;

(ii)    Affected vehicles on Lai Cheung Road eastbound heading to Hung Hom will be diverted via Waterloo Road eastbound, Portland Street northbound, Hamilton Street eastbound and Nathan Road southbound; and

(iii)   Affected vehicles on Lai Cheung Road eastbound heading to Fruit Market Transit Centre will be diverted via Hoi Wang Road southbound, Yan Cheung Road eastbound, Ferry Street northbound, Lai Cheung Road westbound and Hau Cheung Street southbound.


        Appropriate traffic signs and road markings will be erected on site to guide motorists.
