TRAFFIC ADVICE
Temporary Traffic Arrangements in Public Square Street, Yau Ma Tei


        Motorists are advised that to facilitate construction works of Central Kowloon Route, the following temporarily traffic arrangements will be implemented in Yau Ma Tei from 10.00 pm to 5.30 am of the following day daily on 25-28 June 2024 and 2-5, 8-10 July 2024:-


I.      Road Closure

A section of Public Square Street eastbound between Ching Ping Street and Canton Road will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

II.     Banning of Turning Movement

(i)     All vehicles on Ferry Street southbound will be prohibited from making left turn movement onto Public Square Street eastbound; and

(ii)    All vehicles on Ching Ping Street southbound will be prohibited from making left turn movement onto Public Square Street eastbound.

III.    Traffic Diversions

(i)     Affected vehicles on Ferry Street southbound heading to Public Square Street eastbound will be diverted via Jordan Road eastbound and Canton Road northbound;

(ii)    Affected vehicles on Ching Ping Street southbound heading to Public Square Street eastbound will be diverted via Ferry Street southbound, Jordan Road eastbound and Canton Road northbound;

(iii)   Affected vehicles on Ferry Street southbound heading to Former Yau Ma Tei Police Station will be diverted via Jordan Road eastbound, Canton Road northbound and Public Square Street westbound; and

(iv)   Affected vehicles on Ching Ping Street southbound heading to Former Yau Ma Tei Police Station will be diverted via Ferry Street southbound, Jordan Road eastbound, Canton Road northbound and Public Square Street westbound.


        Appropriate traffic signs and road markings will be erected on site to guide motorists.
