ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Restricted Zones on On Yan Street and On Sau Road, Kwun Tong
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10:00 am on 21 June 2024, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:
(a) the northern kerbside lane of On Yan Street from a point about 85 meters west of its southern junction with On Sau Road to a point about 75 meters west of the same junction;
(b) the northern kerbside lane of On Yan Street from its southern junction with On Sau Road to a point about 30 meters west of the same junction;
(c) the southern kerbside lane of On Yan Street from a point about 20 meters east of its junction with the unnamed access road near Yung Tai House to a point about 35 meters west of the same junction;
(d) the southern kerbside lane of On Yan Street from its southern junction with On Sau Road to a point about 25 meters west of the same junction; and
(e) the western kerbside lane of On Sau Road from a point about 35 meters south of its southern junction with On Yan Street to a point around 30 meters north of the same junction.
Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:
(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
