In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10:00 p.m. on 3 June 2024, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

1. the northern kerbside lane of Lok Ma Chau Road from a point of its junction with the unnamed temporary access road heading for Ma Tso Lung to a point about 40 metres west of the same junction; and
2. the southern kerbside lane of Lok Ma Chau Road from a point of its junction with the unnamed access road heading for Lok Ma Chau San Tsuen to a point about 80 metres west of the same junction.

　　Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

1. picking up or setting down passengers; or
2. loading or unloading goods.

　　The extent of the temporary restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

　　At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
