ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Restricted Zones in Po On Road and Fat Tseung Street, Cheung Sha Wan


        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 3 June 2024, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:


(a)     the section of Po On Road from a point about 35 metres west from its junction with Fat Tseung Street to a point about 35 metres east of the same junction; and

(b)     the section of Fat Tseung Street from its junction with Po On Road to a point about 20 metres north of the same junction.


        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:


(a)    picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b)    loading or unloading goods.


        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.
