TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Nathan Road, Yau Ma Tei


        Notice is hereby given that to facilitate works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in Yau Ma Tei from 2 June 2024 to 10 August 2024: -


(A)     Traffic Arrangements

Lane Closure

The following traffic lanes will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic during the periods specified below:

(i)     From 8.00 am to 11.30 am on 2, 9 and 16 June 2024 and from 10.00 pm to 6.00 am of the following day daily from 11 June 2024 to 10 August 2024

The slow lane on Nathan Road southbound from a point about 10 metres north of its junction with Wing Sing Lane to a point about 50 metres north of the same junction.

(ii)    From 10.00 pm to 6.00 am of the following day daily from 21 June 2024 to 10 August 2024

The slow lane on Nathan Road southbound from a point about 35 metres south of its junction with Waterloo Road to a point about 65 metres south of the same junction.

(B)     Transport Arrangements

I.      Bus Stops Relocation

(i)     From 8.00 am to 11.30 am on 2, 9 and 16 June 2024 and from 10.00 pm to 6.00 am of the following day daily from 11 June 2024 to 10 August 2024

(a)     The existing bus stop of KMB route nos. 35A, 35X, 41A, 81C, 87D, 87E, 281A, 281B, 281X, N216, N241, N261 and CTB route nos. 20A, 50, 79P, N21, N21A, N50 located on Nathan Road southbound near Wing Sing Lane will be temporarily relocated for about 30 metres northwards; and

(b)     The existing bus stop of KMB route nos. 7, 208, 234P and 234X located on Nathan Road southbound near Wing Sing Lane will be temporarily relocated for about 20 metres northwards.

(ii)    From 10.00 pm to 6.00 am of the following day daily from 21 June 2024 to 10 August 2024

(a)     The existing bus stop of KMB route no 6C, 6F, 6X, 30X, 81S, 93K, 93P, 230X, X6C and CTB route nos. 795, 795P, 795X, A21, NA20, XHT route nos. 970, 970X and 971 located on Nathan Road southbound near Waterloo Road will be temporarily relocated for about 25 metres southwards.


        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. The public transport operators will display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangements.
