ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Restricted Zones on Ngau Tau Kok Road, Luen On Street, Tung Ming Street
and Horseshoe Lane, Kwun Tong


        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 31 May 2024, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:-


(a)     the northern kerbside lane of Ngau Tau Kok Road from its junction with Luen On Street to a point about 15 metres west of the same junction;

(b)     the northern kerbside lane of Ngau Tau Kok Road from its junction with Luen On Street to a point about 20 metres east of the same junction;

(c)     the southern kerbside lane of Ngau Tau Kok Road from its western junction with Horse Shoe Lane to a point about 50 metres west of the same junction;

(d)     the southern kerbside lane of Ngau Tau Kok Road from its western junction with Horse Shoe Lane to a point about 15 metres east of the same junction;

(e)     the southern kerbside lane of Ngau Tau Kok Road from its eastern junction with Horse Shoe Lane to a point about 15 metres west of the same junction;

(f)     the southern kerbside lane of Ngau Tau Kok Road from its eastern junction with Horse Shoe Lane to a point about 15 metres east of the same junction ;

(g)     the northern kerbside lane of Ngau Tau Kok Road from its junction with Tung Ming Street to a point about 15 metres west of the same junction ;

(h)     the section of Ngau Tau Kok Road from its junction with Tung Ming Street to a point about 25 metres east of the same junction ;

(i)     the northern kerbside lane of Ngau Tau Kok Road from a point about 15 metres west of its junction with Hong Ning Road to a point about 20 metres west of the same junction ;

(j)     the southern kerbside lane of Ngau Tau Kok Road from a point about 5 metres west of its junction with Hong Ning Road to a point about 20 metres west of the same junction ;

(k)     the section of Luen On Street from its junction with Ngau Tau Kok Road to a point about 25 metres north of the same junction ;

(l)     the western kerbside lane of Horse Shoe Lane from its western junction with Ngau Tau Kok Road to a point about 20 metres south of the same junction;

(m)     the eastern kerbside lane of Horse Shoe Lane from its western junction with Ngau Tau Kok Road to a point about 5 metres south of the same junction;

(n)     the western kerbside lane of Horse Shoe Lane from its eastern junction with Ngau Tau Kok Road to a point about 25 metres south of the same junction;

(o)     the eastern kerbside lane of Horse Shoe Lane from its eastern junction with Ngau Tau Kok Road to a point about 15 metres south of the same junction; and

(p)     the section of Tung Ming Street from its junction with Ngau Tau Kok Road to a point about 20 metres north of the same junction.


        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:


(a)    picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b)    loading or unloading goods.


        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.


        At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
