ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Restricted Zones On Chun Wah Road And Choi Ha Road, Kwun Tong


        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 22 May 2024, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:-


(a)     the southern kerbside lane of Chun Wah Road from a point about 25 metres east of its junction with Choi Ha Road to a point about 30 metres west of the same junction;

(b)     the northern kerbside lane of Chun Wah Road from its junction with Choi Ha Road to a point about 25 metres east of the same junction;

(c)     the northern kerbside lane of Chun Wah Road from its junction with Choi Ha Road to a point about 25 metres west of the same junction;

(d)     the eastern kerbside lane of Choi Ha Road from its junction with Chun Wah Road to a point about 30 metres north of the same junction; and

(e)     the western kerbside lane of Choi Ha Road from its junction with Chun Wah Road to a point about 30 metres north of the same junction;

(f)     the western kerbside lane of Chun Wah Road from a point about 15 metres north of its junction with the unnamed access road connecting the egress of Chun Wah Road Sports Centre to a point about 30 metres north of the same junction;

(g)     the western kerbside lane of Chun Wah Road from a point about 5 metres south of its junction with the unnamed access road connecting the ingress of Chun Wah Road Sports Centre to a point about 15 metres south of the same junction ; and

(h)     the eastern kerbside lane of Chun Wah Road from its junction with the unnamed access road connecting the egress of Chun Wah Road Sports Centre to a point about 25 metres north of the same junction.


        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:


(a)    picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b)    loading or unloading goods.


        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.


        At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
