TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Nathan Road, Yau Ma Tei


        Notice is hereby given that to facilitate works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in Yau Ma Tei during the periods specified below: -


(A)     Traffic Arrangement

Lane Closure

The following traffic lanes will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic during the periods specified below:

(i)     From 11.00 pm to 6.00 am of the following day daily from 20 May 2024 to 29 June 2024

The slow lane on Nathan Road southbound from its junction with Saigon Street to a point about 40 metres south of the same junction.

(ii)    From 11.00 pm to 6.00 am of the following day daily from 20 May 2024 to 29 June 2024 and from 2 July 2024 to 13 July 2024

The slow lane on Nathan Road southbound from its junction with Pak Hoi Street to a point about 60 metres south of the same junction.

(iii)   From 11.00 pm to 6.00 am of the following day daily from 2 July 2024 to 13 July 2024

The slow lane on Nathan Road southbound of its junction with Pak Hoi Street to a point about 40 metres north of the same junction.

(B)     Transport Arrangement

I.      Bus Stops Relocation

(i)     From 11.00 pm to 6.00 am of the following day daily from 20 May 2024 to 29 June 2024

The existing bus stop of KMB route nos. 1, 1A, 2, 6, 7, 35A, 35X, 41A, 81C, 87D, 87E, 230X, 281B, 281X, N216 and N281 on Nathan Road southbound near Cheung Lok Street will be temporarily relocated for about 50 metres southwards.

(ii)    From 11.00 pm to 6.00 am of the following day daily from 20 May 2024 to 29 June 2024 and from 2 July 2024 to 13 July 2024

(a)     The existing bus stop of KMB route nos. N241 and CTB route nos. 20A, 970, 970X and 971 on Nathan Road southbound near Pak Hoi Street will be temporarily relocated for about 50 metres southwards; and

(b)     The existing bus stops of KMB route nos. 9, 203S, 208, 234P, 234X and 281A on Nathan Road southbound near Pak Hoi Street will be temporarily relocated for about 30 metres southwards.

II.     Suspension of Taxi Pick-up / Drop-off Point

From 11.00 pm to 6.00 am of the following day daily from 2 July 2024 to 13 July 2024

The taxi pick-up and drop-off point on Nathan Road southbound near Pak Hoi Street will be temporarily suspended.


        Appropriate traffic signs and road markings will be erected on site to guide motorists. The public transport operators will display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangements.
