In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 4.00 pm on 14 May 2024, the temporary speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour on the section of Prince Edward Road East westbound from a point about 140 metres west of its junction with King Tai Street to a point about 650 metres west of the same junction as gazetted in G.N. 993 of 2024 will be rescinded.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.
