ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Restricted Zones on Sau Mau Ping Road and Shun On Road, Kwun Tong
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10:00 a.m. on 17 May 2024, the following road sections in Kwun Tong will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:
(a) the southern kerbside lane of Sau Mau Ping Road from a point about 45 metres east of its junction with Shun On Road to a point about 35 metres west of the same junction;
(b) the northern kerbside lane of Sau Mau Ping Road from a point about 35 metres west of its junction with Shun On Road to a point about 35 metres east of the same junction; and
(c) the section of Shun On Road from its junction with Sau Mau Ping Road to a point about 30 metres north of the same junction.
Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:
(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.
