ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (Chapter 374G)
Restricted Zones in Sha Tin
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 1 December 2023, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

- the eastern kerbside lane of Lion Rock Tunnel Road southbound from its junction with Sha Tin Centre Street to a point about 300 metres south of the same junction;
- the southern kerbside lane of Sha Tin Centre Street westbound from a point about 105 metres east of its junction with Lion Rock Tunnel Road to the same junction;
- the northern kerbside lane of Sha Tin Centre Street eastbound from its junction with Lion Rock Tunnel Road to its junction with Pak Hok Ting Street;
- the western kerbside lane of Sha Tin Centre Street northbound from its junction with Pak Hok Ting Street to a point about 125 metres north of the same junction;
- the eastern kerbside lane of Sha Tin Centre Street southbound from a point about 85 metres north of its junction with Pak Hok Ting Street to a point about 50 metres north of the same junction;
- the northern kerbside lane of the unnamed access road connecting Pak Hok Ting Street and Yi Ching Lane from its junction with Pak Hok Ting Street to a point about 30 metres east of the same junction;
- the section of the unnamed access road connecting Pak Hok Ting Street and Yi Ching Lane from a point about 10 metres east of its junction with Pak Hok Ting Street to a point about 30 metres east of the same junction;
- the eastern kerbside lane of the unnamed access road connecting Pak Hok Ting Street and Yi Ching Lane from a point about 115 metres north of its junction with Yi Ching Lane to a point about 100 metres north of the same junction;
- the eastern kerbside lane of Sha Tin Centre Street southbound from a point about 25 metres north of its junction with Wang Pok Street to the same junction;
- the western kerbside lane of Sha Tin Centre Street northbound from its junction with Wang Pok Street to a point about 30 metres north of the same junction;
- the eastern kerbside lane of Sha Tin Centre Street northbound from a point about 15 metres south of its junction with Wang Pok Street to the same junction;
- the northern kerbside lane of Wang Pok Street from its junction with Sha Tin Centre Street to a point about 15 metres east of the same junction;
- the southern kerbside lane of Wang Pok Street from its junction with Sha Tin Centre Street to a point about 55 metres east of the same junction;
- the northern kerbside lane of Sha Tin Rural Committee Road eastbound from a point about 60 metres west of its junction with Yuen Wo Road to a point about 30 metres east of the same junction;
- the southern kerbside lane of Sha Tin Rural Committee Road westbound from a point about 55 metres east of its junction with Yuen Wo Road to a point about 25 metres west of the same junction;
- the western kerbside lane of Yuen Wo Road northbound from a point about 50 metres south of its junction with Sha Tin Rural Committee Road to a point about 25 metres north of the same junction;
- the eastern kerbside lane of Yuen Wo Road southbound from a point about 55 metres north of its junction with Sha Tin Rural Committee Road to a point about 25 metres south of the same junction;
- the western kerbside lane of Yuen Wo Road northbound from a point about 100 metres north of its junction with Sha Tin Rural Committee Road to a point about 140 metres north of the same junction;
- the eastern kerbside lane of Yuen Wo Road southbound from a point about 160 metres north of its junction with Sha Tin Rural Committee Road to a point about 120 metres north of the same junction; and
- the northern kerbside lane of Wo Che Street eastbound from a point about 120 metres west of its junction with Fung Shun Street to a point about 80 metres west of the same junction.
Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

- picking up or setting down passengers; or
- loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by road markings.
