ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (Chapter 374 SUB. LEG. G)
Temporary Restricted Zone on King's Road, North Point

In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374 sub. leg. G, I hereby direct that with effect from 7.00 a.m. on 3 October 2023 to 7.00 p.m. on 30 November 2024, the southern kerbside lane of King's Road from a point about 40 metres west of its junction with Fortress Hill Road to a point about 100 metres west of the same junction will be temporarily designated as a restricted zone from 7.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. and from 5.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. daily.

        Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except buses, school private light buses, taxis and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-

(a)  picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b)  loading or unloading goods.


The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

        At the same time, the existing restricted zone from 8.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. and from 5.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. daily on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
