Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Tung Chung Road, Lantau Island

          Members of the public are advised that in order to facilitate water mains laying works, a section of Tung Chung Road from a point about 160 metres west of its junction with Chung Yan Road to a point about 180 metres west of the same junction will be temporarily converted from two-lane two-way traffic into one-lane two-way traffic until 6 pm on 29 December 2024.

          Besides, the bus stop for NLB Route Nos. 3M, 11, 11A, 23, 34, A35 and N35 on Tung Chung Road westbound opposite Tung Chung Rural Committee Office will be temporarily suspended from the first morning departure on 5 September 2024 to 6 pm on 29 December 2024. Affected passengers could board/alight the bus at the bus stop on Tung Chung Road westbound near Sheung Lang Pei or the bus stop on Chung Yan Road northbound near Ma Wan New Village.

          Appropriate traffic signs and road markings will be erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to drive with utmost care and patience.

          The bus company will display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangement.
