Members of public are advised that in order to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 2.00 am to 5.45 am on 21 August 2022 and from 12.00 midnight to 5.00 am on 23 August 2022:

A.   Banning of Turning Movement

      (i)    All vehicles will be prohibited from turning right from Sha Tin Rural Committee Road westbound onto the slip road leading from Sha Tin Sha Tin Rural Committee Road westbound to Tai Po Road – Sha Tin northbound;

     (ii)  All vehicles will be prohibited from turning right from the slip road leading from Tai Po Road – Sha Tin northbound onto Sha Tin Rural Committee Road eastbound.

B.   Traffic Diversion

     (i)  Affected vehicles on Sha Tin Rural Committee Road westbound heading for Tai Po Road – Sha Tin northbound will be diverted via Sha Tin Rural Committee Road westbound, Pai Tau Street, Sha Tin Rural Committee Road eastbound to Tai Po Road – Sha Tin northbound;

     (ii)  Affected vehicles on Tai Po Road – Sha Tin northbound heading for Sha Tin Rural Committee Road eastbound will be diverted via Sha Tin Rural Committee Road westbound and Pai Tau Street to Sha Tin Rural Committee Road eastbound.

C.   Public Transport Arrangements

     (i)  LWB Route No. NA40 (Wu Kai Sha Station bound), Route No. A41 (Yu Chui Court bound), KMB Route No. 40X (Wu Kai Sha Station bound), Route No. 47X (Chun Shek bound), Route No. 48X (Wo Che bound), Route No. 49X (Kwong Yuen bound) and Route No. 280X (Sui Wo Court bound) will be diverted via Sha Tin Rural Committee Road westbound, Sha Tin Station Circuit, Sha Tin Rural Committee Road eastbound and then resume their original routeings.

     Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists. Public transport operators will display notices to notify passengers of the above arrangements.
