TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE 

Traffic Arrangements at Tai Po Road in Sha Tin 

                Notice is hereby given that the following traffic arrangements will be implemented from 1.00 am on 8 June 2014 in Sha Tin to facilitate the T3 road associated road works of Civil Engineering and Development Department:

Road Closure

               The slip road of Tai Po Road (Sha Tin section) southbound leading to Lion Rock Tunnel Road / Sha Tin Centre Street / Tai Po Road (Tai Wai section) near Scenery Court will be permanently closed to all vehicular traffic.

Traffic Diversions

               (i)   Affected vehicles on Tai Po Road (Sha Tin section) southbound heading for Lion Rock Tunnel Road will be diverted to travel via Sha Tin Rural Committee Road and Tai Chung Kiu Road.

              (ii)   Affected vehicles on Tai Po Road (Sha Tin section) southbound heading for Sha Tin Centre Street or Tai Po Road (Tai Wai section) will be diverted to travel via Sha Tin Rural Committee Road, Tai Chung Kiu Road and Lion Rock Tunnel Road.

              Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.
