Introduction of KMB Route No. 5M
(Kai Tak (Tak Long Estate) to Kowloon Bay MTR Station (Circular Route))
Service Adjustment of
KMB Route No.5D (Telford Garden to Hung Hom (Circular Route)); and
KMB Route No. 24 (Kai Yip to Mong Kok (Circular Route))
Members of the public are advised that, in conjunction with the intake of the estates in Kai Tak Development Area, with effect from 31 July 2013, a new KMB bus route no. 5M (Kai Tak (Tak Long Estate) - Kowloon Bay MTR Station (Circular Route)) will be operated between the estates at Kai Tak Development Area and Kowloon Bay MTR Station, and the services of two bus routes KMB route no. 5D (Telford Garden - Hung Hom (Circular Route)) and KMB route no. 24 (Kai Yip - Mong Kok (Circular Route)) operating to and from other Kowloon districts will be adjusted. The service details of which are as follows :
(i) KMB Route No. 5M (Kai Tak (Tak Long Estate) to Kowloon Bay MTR Station (Circular Route))
Routeing
Departure from Kai Tak (Tak Long Estate) will travel via Shing Kai Road, Eastern Road, flyover, Concorde Road, Prince Edward Road East, Kwun Tong Road, Kowloon Bay MTR Station, Fuk To Street, Ngau Tau Kok Road, Kai Cheung Road, Wang Kwong Road, Kai Wah Street, Kai Shing Street and Shing Kai Road.
Operating hour and headway
Daily from 6.30 am to 10.00 pm. In the initial period, the headway of the route during peak hour will be around 15 minutes, service will be adjusted subject to demand.

(ii) KMB Route No. 5D (Telford Garden to Hung Hom (Circular Route))
Routeing
The route will be re-routed from Prince Edward Road East westbound via Shing Kai Road to Hung Hom and To Kwa Wan. Departure from Telford Garden will travel via unnamed road, Telford flyover, Wai Yip Street, Kai Cheung Road, Wang Chiu Road, Wang Kwong Road, Kai Wah Street, Kai Shing Street, Shing Kai Road, Eastern Road, Concorde Road, Prince Edward Road East, Ma Tau Chung Road, Mok Cheong Street, To Kwa Wan Road, Ma Tau Wai Road, Tak Man Street, Tak On Street, Whampoa Garden, Tak Hong Street, Hung Hom Road, Bailey Street, To Kwa Wan Road, Ma Tau Kok Road, Ma Tau Chung Road, Prince Edward Road East, flyover, Eastern Road, Shing Kai Road, Muk Hung Street, Muk Chui Street, Wang Kwong Road, Wang Chiu Road, Kai Cheung Road, Wai Yip Street, Telford flyover and unnamed road.
Operating hour and headway
Mondays to Friday (except public holidays) from 6.30 am to 10.00 am and 3.35 pm to 7.35 pm with headway of 15-30 minutes. Saturdays (except public holidays) from 6.30 am to 10.00 am and 3.35 pm to 7.35 pm with headway of 20-30 minutes.

(iii) KMB Route No. 24 (Kai Yip to Mong Kok (Circular Route))
Routeing
The route will be re-routed from Prince Edward Road East westbound via Shing Kai Road to Mong Kok and Prince Edward. Departure from Kai Yip will travel via Wang Chiu Road, Wang Kwong Road, Kai Wah Street, Kai Shing Street, Shing Kai Road, Eastern Road, Concorde Road, Prince Edward Road East, Prince Edward Road West, Sai Yee Street, Argyle Street, Prince Edward Road West, Prince Edward Road East, flyover, Eastern Road, Shing Kai Road, Muk Hung Street, Muk Chui Street, Wang Kwong Road and Wang Chiu Road.

Daily from 5.50 am to 11.30 pm with headway of 20 minutes.
