Traffic Management Measures at Tai Po Road - Sha Tin (Kowloon Bound)

to be Implemented on 14 August 2011 

 

                Notice is hereby given that to alleviate traffic congestion during morning peak at Tai Po Road - Sha Tin (Kowloon Bound), the following traffic management measures will be implemented at Tai Po Road - Sha Tin (near New Town Plaza) from 6.00 am on 14 August 2011:

 

                (a)    To Tai Wai, Kowloon (East) and Kowloon (Central)

                Motorists shall exit Tai Po Road via the slip road (near Lek Yuen Estate) to Sha Tin Rural Committee Road, then cross Sha Tin Rural Committee Road and re-join Tai Po Road slow lane via the down ramp;

                (b) To Kowloon (West)

                Motorists shall drive along the middle lane to enter Tsing Sha Highway; and

                (c) To Tsuen Wan

                Motorists shall drive along the fast lane to enter Shing Mun Tunnel Road.

                Appropriate traffic aids will be provided on site to guide motorists.
